Needle felting is a relaxing, easy craft and you can learn to make all sorts of cute gifts and items for the home. This project involves poking wool fibres onto a piece of felt using a specialist barbed needle. It is a brilliant introduction to the art of felting so it's perfect for total beginners - or anyone who enjoys making things.
 
Inside the box you will find a piece of natural felt, enough to make at least six critters, and eight lengths of cruelty-free wool fibre in shades of pink, red, brown, mocha, blue, green and cream. There are two felting needles, striped thread for hanging your decorations and full photographic, step by step instruction cards to walk you through the project. With templates to draw around for your critters – a bear, a rabbit and a mouse. 
 
Our kits are all hand-made with love from our studio in Hertfordshire, UK. They come in a pretty display box so they are ready to gift to someone creative and make a wonderful Christmas stocking filler or winter pastime for a loved one.
 
You will need a soft surface to work on. A sponge will work if you are just starting or add one of our foam felting mats to your order. The mat is 15 x 15 x 5cm white foam for working with small projects like these.
