Our story
Bergin & Bath are on a mission to bring creative craft back to your kitchen table with our range of unique planet-friendly craft kits for adults.
We are Katie Bergin & Rachel Bath, two creative friends who got together in 2013 to start producing art and lifestyle magazines. Our respective career backgrounds are in branded packaging and magazine editing so when we gave up the commute to look after our families, it was a brilliant opportunity to set up our own packaging company. Back in 2019 we decided to see if we could create our own products. With
families to support and the freelance world becoming ever more unreliable, we wanted to build our own income stream doing something we both love – craft!

Just as we launched our first range of kits, along came a global pandemic. In many ways, this solidified the concept. Then, more than ever, people needed an escape – from the world, from screens and from stress. As artists & makers, we knew that craft is the very best form of therapy.
Quality is key. Over the years, we have both tired of buying craft kits that were cheaply made and too quick to finish. What's the point in that? For us, craft is about giving yourself a little challenge, opening up neural pathways, taking time to fully unwind and learn something new, and to be pleased with the finish and quality of the end result.

Every one of our kits comes with full photographic, step-by-step instructions and the materials you need to complete the projects. We design, develop and source all of our craft kits ourselves and hope you enjoy making them as much as we do! Wherever possible, we use natural, biodegradable or recycled / recyclable materials and try to reduce waste and unnecessary packaging.
It is hugely important to us that, as we create new products and send them out into the world, that we have supported reputable suppliers of high-quality, sustainable materials and helped to reduce the amount of plastic in the world in our own little way.
We believe there's nothing better than holding something in your hand and saying, "I made that." So even if you have never made anything before, you should give craft a try. You don't need any previous experience to have a go, and the projects are almost all suitable for beginners unless otherwise stated in the description.
Our kits include needle felted animals and decorations, macramé projects for the home and gifts, paper flower making patterns, beaded bracelet sets and embroidery.
